Description: In an effort to stay on top of the most sophisticated technology in medicine, the Hennepin County Medical Center’s new MRI suite required new mechanical and electrical systems. CM Construction also needed to remove the building’s roof in order to place a 12,000 pound magnet inside the facility. But because people don’t put their medical needs on hold for a construction project, the work was completed in 30 days while the hospital remained fully operational.

Description: HCMC needed to expand its Surgery & Procedure Center, while keeping the adjacent surgery rooms active and sterile. CM conducted its work in separate phases of demolition and new construction of the 80,000 square foot space while keeping an air-tight separation from active surgery rooms.

Description:CM Construction was proud to build permanent housing, upgrade the facility’s healthcare unit for patient care and health professions staffing. We also installed a new elevator to make it easier for our nation’s heroes to move from floor to floor.
